Lush greenery, verdant natural plays capes, winding pathways, cycling trails, rolling slopes, giant logs and stepping stumps. Let’s give back our children something that we enjoyed the most in our childhood. Natural environs to explore and grow –swinging from a tree, running and rolling down slopes, making tunnels and castles in the sand- all these simple pleasures of a bygone era need to be reclaimed to restore the joy of childhood. In today’s world of Xboxes, I pads and Play stations, even learning and playing have become too structured. There are endless competitions to participate in, too much pressure even on a tiny two and a half year old kid. At the Sylvan Trails School, we believe in initiating a “Restore the lost pleasures of childhood!” Movement and let children be children rather than mini Adults.
